Bulk Actions in Outlook for Android Search Results. Ever searched for emails in Outlook on your Android phone, only to manage the results one message at a time?
That’s changing!
Microsoft is introducing bulk actions in Outlook for
Android search results. Now you can select multiple matching emails and
apply a supported action in one step.
This includes moving, archiving, deleting, organizing, and
reporting applicable messages.
The feature is already available in Outlook for iOS.
How to Move Multiple Emails from Search Results
Here is how to use the new multi-select feature in Outlook
for Android.
- Open
Outlook on your Android phone.
- Search
for emails using a keyword, sender, or other search criteria.
- Select
multiple emails from the search results.
- Tap
the three-dot menu at the top of the screen to review the available
actions.
- Select
Move to Folder.
- Browse
your folders, including Favorites, Inbox, and custom folders.
- Choose
the destination folder to move all selected emails in one action.
- Open
the destination folder to confirm the messages were moved.
That’s it! No need to move each email individually.

Three emails, one action!
When Will This Feature Be Available?
Microsoft began rolling out this update in mid-October 2026 and expects to complete the rollout by late October 2026.
If you don’t see the feature yet, make sure your Outlook for Android app is updated. The feature may not be available to everyone immediately.
